In the name of Allah, the Beneficent the Merciful
ستايش خدا را كه پروردگار جهانيان است.«2»
All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds
آن بخنشده مهربان.«3»

آن فرمان روائ روز جزا.«4»
Master of day of Judgment
تو را مئ پرستيم و از تو يارئ موجوييم.«5»
Thee do we save and Thee do we beseech for help
ما را به راه راست هدايت كن.«6»
Keep us on the right path
راه كسانئ كه ايشان را نعمت داده ائ ، نه خشم گرفتگان و نه گمراهان
the path of those upon whom thou hast bestowed favors
Not (the path) of those upon whom they wrath is brought, nor
fo those who go astry
